Food service establishments must have a certified food safety manager in the facility when food is being prepared and served. The person in charge must have received a passing grade on the food safety manager exam.
The twelve hours of food safety training time are no longer required. This means it is no longer a requirement to attend a two day class. Managers can attend a one day class, score 75% or higher on the ServSafe Manager exam and full fill the North Carolina Food Code requirements.
With these new requirements, Innovative Food Safety Solutions will now offer our public classes as a one-day class instead of a two day class.
For more detailed information about the class visit our ServSafe Overview page.
