What You Can Expect

The class material is delivered in 10 sections, with a review at the end of each section. The certification exam will be administered upon completion of the class. The exam is 90 multiple choice questions, to become a Certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager a minimum score of 75% is required.

 

Class & Exam Language

If you would like a test in any language other than English and Spanish we need to know two weeks prior to the class you registered to attend.

 

Re-certification

To maintain your certification you need to re-certify every 5 years. Some jurisdictions may require you to re-certify earlier than 5 years.

 

Classes & Exams are proctored and meet all state health department and ANSI/CFP requirements for approved food safety manager training. Classes must have a minimum of 15 participants and no more than 35 participants. Most classes fill up very quick; however, if the minimum of 15 participants is not reached your registration will be moved to the next available date in your area. Someone from our office will contact you via email 3 days before the scheduled class date if it is necessary to move your class to the next available date in your area.

 

Class Locations

We are currently conducting ServSafe classes in the states of Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee.

 

Class length

Approximately 8 hours.

 

Custom On-site ServSafe Classes

If you would like for us to conduct a custom on-site class for your foodservice operation. The only requirement is a minimum of 15 or more participants. Give us a call, we would be more than happy to provide you with this service.

Study Material

After we receive your registration and payment for the class of your choice, you will receive a confirmation email and study material.

 

Class Times

8 hour class, 9:00am-5:00pm

 

Certification Exam Results

Once we receive the class participant’s results, we will email them to you as well as your certificate.

 

Breaks and Lunch

One mid-morning and mid-afternoon break.

We will break for lunch at approximately 12:00 pm. Lunch is on your own.

ServSafe Food Handler Program. This is a great entry level food safety program for your entry level or non-management food handlers.

 

What You Can Expect

The ServSafe Food Handler Program is a complete solution that delivers consistent food safety training to employees.

 

The program covers five key areas:

• Basic Food Safety

• Personal Hygiene

• Cross-contamination & Allergens

• Time & Temperature

• Cleaning & Sanitation

 

The length of the ServSafe Food Handler Program is approximately 2.5 hours.

 

We do not have any ServSafe Food Handler seminars scheduled for the public as we do for the ServSafe Manager Certification Classes. This class is delivered as a custom on-site class only.
