Food service establishments must have a designated Person In Charge (PIC) when they are open and serving food. The Person In Charge (PIC) must be able to Demonstrate Knowledge of Food Safety.
Managers can attend our one day ServSafe Manager Certification, score 75% or higher on the ServSafe Manager exam which will allow them to meet the (Demonstrate Knowledge of Food Safety) requirement by being a Certified Food Protection Manager.
